Siete Leguas

Tequila Siete Leguas was first produced in 1952 by Don Ignacio Gonzalez Vargas in the town of Atotonilco in Jalisco, Mexico. To this day the company remains family owned and operated and combines the juice from its two distilleries, La Vencedora founded in 1942 and El Centenario founded in 1949, to produce the product known as 7 Leguas. The name Siete Leguas is the name Don Ignacio Gonzalez Vargas gave his tequila as a show of admiration for the famous Mexican revolutionary Pancho Villa, whose horse was named 7 Leguas.

Siete Leguas Blanco

Intensely brilliant and luminous with silvery hues and strong body allows enjoying its excellent distillation, leaving a trail of scents with a subtle endnote of cooked agave. Either straight or mixed, the nature of agave stands at all times.

Siete Leguas Reposado

Golden hues and a sheen of green on a background of straw yellow. This is a one-of-a-kind tequila thanks to the meticulous care it receives and its 8 months stay in the oak barrels. Its intense personality gives soft oak nuances on the nose and a dominant cooked agave flavor and woody notes on the palate.

Siete Leguas Añejo

A golden full-bodied with silver reflections clearly defined by the aroma of slow cooked agave and a delicate oak barrel endnote. In the mouth, all its aromatic fullness unwinds. All this is the result of the great care that the tequila is subjected during its 24 months of aging.

Siete Leguas D’Antaño

Intensively yellow, with golden shades and strong body. The nose offers fruity and delicate spice notes. The agave elegantly tinges this aromatic harmony, keeping its olfactory promise in the mouth. For 5 years, the coat of the barrel prints its sophisticated style, becoming the frame that highlights its pleasant personality.
