Gemini Medals at 10th Annual San Francisco World Spirits Competition
Chicago, IL – The results from the 2010 San Francisco World Spirits Competition are hot off the press, and the Gemini portfolio shines yet again! The SFWSC is the largest competition of its kind in the United States, and was held on March 13th and 14th at the Hotel Nikko. Judges including Anthony Dias Blue, Tony Abou-Ganim, Dale DeGroff, Doug Frost, Sean Ludford, Robert Plotkin, David Wondrich and several other spirits experts reviewed the list of over 1,000 entries.
Gemini Spirits & Wine earned three Double Gold Medals, the highest honor awarded to a select few entrants. Rey Sol Extra Añejo and Orgullo Añejo, both hailing from Casa San Matías, brought home this esteemed medal. Connemara Cask Strength Peated Single Malt also took home a Double Gold, adding to the extensive list of awards for the Cooley Irish Whiskeys.
